Based on the Brief: 20 years the Wall Berlin , the goal was to make a video using Processing, programming language geared towards the animation of images and interaction design.
So lack of communication, roads, fence, step, wall, street ... Brainstorming from a word we came up with the images: lack of communication, barrier, wall = forms sharp, angular lines , especially the graphic picture research inspired by the Bauhaus, road, passage, path = soft shapes and sinuous and then images taken from the scene of Kandinsky.
We started the study and research of some particular anomaly that struck us about the history of the Berlin Wall fell, we then discovered that the same blocks of the wall, after its destruction, were used for the construction of roads Berlin, for which, until that momemto, had been an insurmountable barrier.
The final step was to to program these ideas, then become graphic in Processing.
The result: a short video that starts from the construction of angular lines that overlap creating a visual barrier, and ultimately turn into a colorful bundle of fluid lines.
The video was then projected on the giant screen in Piazza Duomo in Milan, in collaboration with NABA and Urbanscreen.
